Shenzhen Ben Intelligent Co., Ltd. (“Benfit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains how the Benfit mobile application (the “App”) processes information when you use the App together with compatible wearable devices.

The first release of the App operates under a no-account model. You are not required to register for, create, or log into an account in order to use the core functions of the App.

To provide the App’s functions, the App may process the following categories of information:

2.1 Device Binding and Synchronization Information

When you connect a compatible wearable device to the App, the App may process:

• wearable device identifier information

• mobile device identifier information

• phone model

• operating system version

• Bluetooth-related device information

This information is used to identify, bind, connect, and synchronize your wearable device with the App.

2.2 Profile Information

​

The App may process profile information that you enter, including:

• height

• weight

• gender

• age

​

This information is used to improve the accuracy of activity and wellness-related calculations.

2.3 Fitness Data

​

The App may process fitness-related data, including:

• device location

• workout route / movement track

• exercise type

• exercise duration

• steps

• distance

• calories

• workout heart rate

• calculated analysis data

This information is used to store and display your fitness records and related results.

2.4 Health Data

The App may process health-related data, including:

• sleep

• heart rate

• stress

• blood oxygen

This information is used to store and display your health-related records and trends.

2.5 Prayer / Tasbih Data

The App may process prayer-related data, including:

• tasbih / prayer bead count data

This information is used to store and display related records for your personal use.

2.6 App Diagnostics and Analytics

The App may process certain technical and diagnostic information, such as:

• app version

• device model

• operating system version

• crash information

• diagnostic logs

• app usage data

This information is used to maintain app stability, troubleshoot issues, and improve the App and its features.

We use the information described above to:

• connect and manage compatible wearable devices

• synchronize data between the device and the App

• calculate, store, and display fitness, wellness, and prayer-related records

• provide weather, map, firmware update, and watch face related features

• send push notifications where applicable

• maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the App

The App is designed under a local-storage-first approach. Core profile, fitness, health, and prayer-related data is intended to be stored primarily on your mobile device.

However, certain features may require data to leave your device where technically necessary, including:

• weather services

• map and location-related services

• push notification services

• crash reporting and analytics services

• OTA firmware update services

• watch face download and synchronization services

Depending on the features you use, the App may request permissions such as:

• Bluetooth

• Nearby Devices

• Location

• Notifications

If you deny certain permissions, some functions may not work properly. For example:

• if Bluetooth or Nearby Devices permission is denied, the App may not be able to connect to your wearable device

• if Location permission is denied, weather, route, or map-related functions may be limited

• if Notification permission is denied, the App may not be able to sync phone notifications to your wearable device or send push notifications

The App may use third-party services to provide certain functions.

6.1 Weather Services

The App may use:

• OpenWeather One Call API 3.0

• OpenWeather Geocoding API

​

These services may receive location-related information, city information, IP-related request information, or other technical request data necessary to provide weather-related functions.

6.2 Map Services

​

The App may use:

• Google Maps

Google Maps may process location-related information and related technical request data necessary to provide map and route-related functions.

6.3 OTA and Watch Face Services

​

The App may use services hosted on Hans servers for:

• firmware updates (OTA)

• watch face download and synchronization

These services may receive device-related information, such as device model, device identifier, firmware version, and related service request data, as necessary to provide those functions.

6.4 Push Notification Services

​

The App may use push notification services, which may process:

• push token

• device-related information

• language / region information

​

as necessary to deliver notifications.

6.5 Crash Reporting and Analytics

​

The App may use crash reporting and analytics tools to process technical information and usage data for troubleshooting and product improvement.

Because the App uses a no-account, local-storage-first model, much of the information processed by the App is retained on your device until it is removed from the device.

Where data is processed by third-party services for specific features, such data may be retained according to the applicable third-party service provider’s retention practices.

As the App does not currently use an account system, there is no account deletion process.

At this stage, locally stored data is deleted by:

• uninstalling the App from your device

If certain information has been transmitted to third-party services to enable specific features, such data may be subject to the deletion and retention practices of the relevant service providers.

The App is not intended for children.

The App provides fitness, wellness, and lifestyle-related information for general informational purposes only. The App is not a medical device, and the information it provides is not intended for diagnosis, treatment, cure, monitoring, or prevention of any disease or medical condition.

We take reasonable measures to protect the information processed by the App. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

The App may be made available in multiple countries or regions. Where third-party services are used, information may be processed outside your country or region depending on the service provider’s infrastructure and processing practices.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updated version will be made available through the App and/or our official channels.
